SimilarImages is a free application designed to find similar images (duplicates) on your harddrives. It therefore uses a fast Graphics Library to access the files and analyized the contents of the images and not the binary contents of a file. Depending on these results (datasets) SimilarImages computes comparision values on a file-to-file base. If this comparision value is below a certain, user-configurable value the file-pair will be considered to be similar and the Compare Files Window shows up.
